Connecting to Skype
Everyone is familiar with Skype, most people have used it call friends and colleagues with a Skype account and many have used Skypeout to call regular phone numbers. Skype can also be used to make calls directly to any SIP capable PBX. This is not a Skypeout call to your regular phone number, but a Skype call directly into the corporate PBX. The call is completely free from any device anywhere a Skype call can be made
Skype offer a service called Skype Connect. This service provides an inbound SIP Connection directly into your PBX over a standard Internet connection. A UM Labs SIP PBX will provide security on this connection and makes configuring this connection straightforward
