The metaverse will create a new attack surface, it will bring with it all of the data in transit issues from voice, video (any codec, new or existing) device at low levels (VR headset, IOT edge devices) and platforms in use today which extend to the Metaverse (MS Teams, META/Zoom/Cisco WebEx, Google (WebRTC) and in the supply chain. We at UM-Labs R&D have extended the UNICUS UOS hardened any cloud native platform to be used in a subscription model from which partners (CSP/DSP) secure the Metaverse and Internet/5G services for real-time communications at multi-levels, network, application and content/media.
