Traditional VPNs. Gareth Flook paper

AI agents, autonomous cars, drones, IoT nodes, and sensors, more sensors: Everything in a 5G and 6G worlds will potentially need a secure data in transit across the network. This means more than anything else in the remaining years before 6G’s anticipated rollout, high-capacity, low latency, intelligent compute must have connections behind cell towers that are a key game change for security across all IP networks and encourages the interoperability from Cloud any type and AI chip sets that drive faster and faster processing, such as NVIDIA. Only then can telecom folks call backhaul a truly high-capacity fiber or wireless link that pass secure data in transit from cell towers toward the internet backbone, especially with defence in mind. It’s the difference between the “local” connection from your mobile device to a nearby tower and the “trunk” connection that carries millions of signals simultaneously. As part of the deployment of advanced R&D by UM-Labs and their collaboration with Defence/CSP/Emergency service network SI’s, Unicus Core and Unicus Edge has aided secure IP across all networks (backbone included), IP applications throughout the layers of the OSI model and the IP Content/Media with old and new standards driving change in compute, such as the virtual reality which is now breaking ground using AI and Quantum technology.  Already, collaboration is breaking down issues of low latency and faster compute, recognising that a NEW security platform design such that Unicus has delivered on, references have stated ‘A Very powerful CORE, Unicus creates a new way to build secure IP networks –ATOS/Eviden’ and ‘KPN NGSS as a service deployed across the MOD estate in the Netherlands and abroad, is deployed with the foundation of all IP security from the Unicus technology’.  Delivered Post Quantum Safe encryption, Large Event Model AI, multi-layer IP security with intelligent predictive and proactive security against multi-layer attacks, deployed in any cloud, across any network inclusive of fiber, wireless, satellite and a better way to secure the new network backbones in design, replacing old and legacy point solutions, such as VPN’s.  (read Gareth Flook leader in system engineering at Um-Labs R&D)
