UM-Labs R&D supports BT Group at Innovation event in Belfast with Metaverse Security.

In Room 8 of the City Hall’s visitor exhibition, BT’s Research & Network Strategy team is piloting the use of 5G with cloud rendering technology to enable the large-scale, detailed 3D map of the city. This concept was brought to life with BT having collaborated with several partners including AWS, JAM Creative and UM Labs R&D.

The team at Jam Creative brought the creativity with their wealth of experience in producing engaging, immersive visitor experiences via smartphones, tablets, VR headsets to bring places, objects and landscapes to life with innovative new technology. UM Labs R&D integrated their Unicus Cyber Security Platform natively across AWS wavelength and using the Unicus EDGE Toolkit, installed with NVIDA GPU presented for the Apple IOS and having enhanced encryption (up to PQC) technology that protects all the Metaverse XR streams.
