The establishment of the Police Digital Service is of serious importance and this series of events is designed to coincide with its launch. ESN in the UK needs cross inter-operation between police/emergency services command centre, a requirement to access LTE/4G/5G, Wi-Fi, SD-Wan, OpenRan, Broadband/SIP Trunking communications and the applications that are using SIP/RTSP/SRTP/RTP/WebRTC protocols, now open to multi-level (network, application, content/media) cyber-attacks.

Key compliance and regulations reflect the issues of criminal cyber-attacks more than ever and this requirement to support technology of real-time CCTV, Bodycam, and collaboration video/audio, integrated and inter-operational, has opened up to multi-level cyber-attacks and for which, the surface is huge, complexity on security of data in transit has to be solved!

It is often the case that encryption is an after thought and in today’s criminal cyber world, is a clear target to deliver end to end. UM-Labs R&D UK, an innovator in data in transit cyber security, has designed UNICUStm UOS to deliver PIA (protect, intercept, archive) policy by design, multi-level AI/machine learning platform, end to end defence level encryption, which is being run by partners who embed in product (Atos HooX), offer as a service (KPN NGSS) Digital Safe/Retain (searchable archive).
